Coach Signature Collection Feb 16th 2012, 11:10 Coach Inc. was founded in 1941 as a family owned business. Inspired by the design of a baseball glove, a handbag was made with similar characteristics. Six artisans created a collection of handbags made from high quality leather and intricate stitch work. When Bonni Cashin joined the company in 1962 she introduced the use of organic leather, wool and jersey. Coach is a leader in suede and leather accessories in America. In 2001 the company released the "Coach Signature Collection" wherein it used the double C logo pattern printed on jacquard fabric on a number of handbags in various shapes and sizes.
